
Chad Kennedy is a stage director with over a decade of experience. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Theatre at Christ University in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India, where he has directed Habib Tanvir's Charandas Chor, Caryl Churchill's Love and Information, Nikolai Gogol's The Government Inspector, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and others. He received his MFA in directing from Baylor University, where he directed Eugene Ionesco's Rhinoceros, Lauren Gunderson’s I and You, the Italian futurist compilation Serate Futuriste, and co-directed Jason Robert Brown’s Honeymoon in Vegas. Areas of focus include ensemble work, devising, and musical theatre.
Other favorite projects include the musical In the Heights, 33 Variations by Moises Kaufman, Fuddy Meers by David Lindsay-Abaire, Chamber Music by Arthur Kopit, The Man Who Was Thursday by Bilal Dardai, and the devised comedies Mount Fuji, the Peerless and The Way of the Sand Cats.
